When a Case is started for a Subject they currently receive a single email inviting them to complete their Case Portal. If the subject misses, or forgets, this email they will not complete their Case Portal. This will result in incomplete Cases, delays to start dates and confusion.
We will soon be sending reminder emails to Subjects every 3 days for 9 days to remind them that they have actions to complete. This will reduce the chances of Subjects either forgetting to finish their account activation, or completing their Case Portals.
One of two different email templates will be sent to Subjects, according to the status of their Subject user account:
- Subject has not activated their account and has an outstanding Case portal - Non-Activated Account email
- Subject has activated their account, but still has an outstanding Case Portal - Outstanding Case Portal email

Note: There is no action needed, this change will be applied on 14th November 2023.
