What are Decisions?

Decisions are an optional Entitlement that enables a User to record a decision against Case Activities. These can be customisable to show as "Pass/Fail" "Reviewed" and more.

When can Decisions be used

Decisions can be used on Case Activities within a Case, with a final Decision being recorded on the case once these are completed.

Recording Decisions

To record a Decision on a Case:

  • Navigate to the Case needed from the Case List View - https://app.personnelchecks.co.uk/cases/
  • Expand the Case Activities to review the information / results
  • Choose the relevant decision on the bottom left of the Case Activity Card. These will be recorded as a Key Result for the Case Activities

Once all the Case Activities have had Decisions recorded against them, a drop-down will show on the top right of the list view. The decision recorded here will be a Key Result of the Case.

Who can use Decisions

Any Customer can have Decisions enabled on their account, they just need to contact our Operations Team to arrange for the Entitlement to be added, and what wording they require.

Automatic Decisions

It is possible to have Automatic Decisions on an account. These are an additional Entitlement that can be added to an account.

Automatic Decisions can be configured on both a Requirement level and a Process level to affect Case Activities or Cases respectively.

Case Activity Automatic Decisions

In the Requirements Tab of a Process, Case Activities can be set to autocomplete if clear/complete. From here it is possible to set the Automatic Decision to match any internal processes in place.

Case Automatic Decisions

It is also possible to automatically complete Cases and apply a Decision when certain requirements are set. This is done in the Configuration Tab of the Process Configuration.

Examples of this include:

Setting a Case to Passed/Reviewed when all Case Activities are Reviewed Setting a Case to Failed if any Case Activities have failed

Multiple Autocomplete rules can be applied to a Process.
