Processes

Processes are a combination of compliance checks that you wish to carry out on a Subject. These can be for just one type, such as a DBS or Right to Work, or a combination of services, such as DBS, Right to Work, and DVLA.

We call the different types of checks Activity Types, we go into more detail on these further down this page.

Requesting New Processes

• If you are an existing customer and you’ve used Personnel Checks previously, you can request new DBS processes using the following link: https://www.personnelchecks.co.uk/request-for-a-new-process

Registration Portals

A Registration Portal is a web page which is used by Subjects to pay for their own Cases.

They are linked to a Process, a link is generated and Subjects can use this link to apply and pay.

If you have a DBS process for a Teacher and you want the Subject to pay for this themselves, a Registration Portal will be created and you will have access to the link which has been created, you can send this reusable link to the Subject. Once they’ve applied a Case and Subject record will appear on your account.

Activity Types

Basic details

Basic details are used to determine which fields of information are needed from the subject, these include; Title, Date of birth, Nationality, National insurance number.

Different fields are required for the different Processes.

Address history

The amount of address history required depends on the Process requirements

Document Collection

The document collection activity type is added when the Activity types require uploaded ID documents.
