What is a “Driving Licence Endorsements and Entitlements” Activity Type?
A Driving Licence Endorsements and Entitlements Activity Type is a check on a Subject’s DVLA record. It takes their licence number and returns any entitlements and endorsements they may have. Giving the requester information such as the number of points on the licence, any restrictions, and an idea of what the individual is allowed to drive.
To prevent the need to use a share code on the DVLA website, Personnel Checks offer the ability to complete these necessary checks directly from our web application. These can also be run on a regular basis using our Cycles and Subscriptions feature.

Configuration
The following can be configured for a Driving Licence Endorsements and Entitlements Activity Type:

Information Collected From Subjects
To complete a Driving Licence Endorsements and Entitlements Case Activity, the Subject will be asked to provide:
- Consent. This consent will last for three years unless revoked
- Basic details
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Licence Number
- Address History
- Current address
Using with Cycles and Subscriptions
It is possible to use Cycles and Subscriptions with the Driving Licence Endorsements and Entitlements Activity Type. When in use, the Case will be started as configured in the Cycle, and if the Subject has a valid consent, the Case will be automatically completed.

Viewing Driving Licence Endorsements and Entitlements Results

On the Case Activity view, you will see:

| Driver Details | The name, gender, date of birth and address of the driver |
| Licence Details | The licence number, type, status, validity dates and issue number |
| Endorsements | Any endorsements on the licence including points and disqualifications |
| Entitlements | The entitlements on the licence , from and expiry dates for the entitlements and any restrictions |
| Tests | Any tests that are shown on the licence |
Flags
A Driving Licence Endorsements and Entitlements Case Activity will flag for the following reasons:
- Driving Endorsements
- Non Current Full Licence
- No Driver Record Found
- Revoked Consent
- Address mismatch
